Discovering How To Deal With Guilt; Experiencing A Life Set Free in Just Ten Days!
Have you ever thought what it would be to live a life free of guilt without the haunting feeling of regret and remorse constantly staying in the recesses of your mind? Guilt is a big issue for countless individuals and the way to deal with guilt is a gurey asked by many individuals.
Rather than questioning how any one can cope with their guilt, maybe a better question would be “How do I remove my guilt?” If one really wishes to live a life out from under its clutches. Dealing with guilt has the implication of skating by or surviving the circumstances. It doesn’t have feelings of freedom. It still says you are beneath some sort of burden.
Disposing of guilt is doable although not through any program, treatment or any plan invented by man. Guilt is the results of sin, which is acting, saying or believing something that’s contrary to what God would have us believe. That is not a legal lifestyle, but instead selecting to live or not live according to the elements set forth in Gods Word, which ultimately leads to real happiness, liberty and peace. Living against Scripture is certainly sin, which ends up in guilt. In the book of Romans, chapter one, it says that we are designed with a built in perception of God and His features and trying to put a blanket over God’s truth wont change it.
The worst thing about sin, which leads to guilt, is that it separates us from our Heavenly Father. That separation, if not restored, leads to spiritual death and separation from Him for all time. Fortunately, God longs for that every broken relations to be restored and has provided a method for reconciling. Reconciliation takes place when one believes that God sent His sinless Son, Jesus Christ, to be crucified as a sacrifice for their sins and acknowledge their desperate need for God’s Son’s sacrifice. Thru His cruel death on the cross, God’s Son enables for any individual who believes to get God’s clemency of all their sin, regardless of how great or small. Your Heavenly Father alone is ready to forgive (officially release from any punishment i.e, never-ending death) and pardon any one who request and believe. After being forgiven, we are no longer guilty for God forgives our transgressions and takes away the guilt of it. God does this due to His agape love for us and His desire that we live forgiven and set free from the guilt that debilitates and weighs us down.
Does that mean we wont continue doing things that lead us to guilt? Absolutely not, but God tells us when that occurs if we ask for forgiveness, He’s faithful and just to forgive each of us our sins and will cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I John 19.
There is no reason for this guilt to weigh you down any longer, not when God, the One with the power to pardon, is prepared and willing and excited to forgive you and set you free.
